Each semester the International Office together with the Student Representative Council (Sprecherrat) offer a program of activities for international students at the University of Würzburg. This gives students an opportunity to meet each other and to find out more about Würzburg and the surrounding area. At the beginning of each semester, there is a get-together for all the new international students.
In addition, there are also programs offered by the student tutors in the halls of residence, the lutheran student community (Evangelischen Studentengemeinde ESG), the catholic student community (Katholischen Hochschulgemeinde KHG) and international student societies.
Information about all the events planned for the coming semester, is published in October for the winter semester and April for the summer semester. In recent years, the program has included trips to Berlin, Munich (with a visit to the theatre/opera), Weimar as well as guided tours of Würzburg, a tour of the Prince Bishops‘ Residence, wine-tastings etc.
We would be happy to welcome you at any one of these events and wish you success in your studies at our university and a very pleasant stay in Würzburg.
